Knitting Wants

There are always designs, both of my own dreaming and others, that I want to knit *now*. I have a few cardigans in my Ravelry queue, recently finishing knitting Acer Cardigan by Amy Christoffers and I’m planning on casting on another one of hers, Stonecutters Cardigan, soon. Well, as soon as I finish the scarf that’s OTN.

In the meantime, I thought I’d show you some of the designs I want to knit.

There’s Thyone by Tori Gurbisz. I actually have yarn for this, grey and purple and if it hadn’t been quite so cold here these last few days I would be casting this on.

I really want to knit these. Twisted Flower Socks by Cookie A. I’m still new to sock knitting. I’ve knitted one pair years ago to see if I could (I rarely wore them as they were too big) and I knitted my first real pair earlier this year. I have another pair OTN but they’re not for me. These ones are for me and I’m planning on knitting them in a gorgeous emerald green I have wound and ready to go.

I’ve been wearing hot pink today, mainly to keep my fingers warm, but I’ve wanted a pop of pink, bright, vivid, eye-searing pink, just for fun and I think Picabeau by Jennifer Dassau might be perfect.

Lastly, I’ve recently fallen in love with Sardinian, by Corrina Ferguson. I love knitting lace, and I love this shawl. I don’t have yarn for it. I’m not sure of what colour I’ll knit it in. I just know I *need* to knit it.

What have you come across recently that you want, *need* to knit?
